The Angry Atheist #124 w/ Damion Reinhardt

https://sites.google.com/a/oklahomaatheists.com/home/

The Angry Atheist spends some time with Damion Reinhardt co-founder of  the Oklahoma Atheists, co -host  of the Oklahoma Atheists Godcast, and blogger at SkepticInk.com .

Damion talks about the success of his group in OK, why he thinks they are so popular and what problems come with that success.

Is there a difference between skepticism and atheism? Should one lead to the other? Damion talks about that and whether Santa Claus visits his kids.

Interaction on the net is tricky sometimes so we talk a bit about how that could be done a little better

Oklahoma certainly needs people like Damion. To see/hear more from him  you can find his blog here

You can also find Oklahoma Atheists’ Godcast here.

The Angry Atheist #122 w/ Carl Silverman

rsrflyer

Carl Silverman from the Pennsylvania Nonbelievers is the guest this time. Carl  doesn’t have typical opinions about some subjects, like the word marriage, and he shares some of those on this podcast.

Does the Pennsylvania government spend too much of it’s time talking about and debating religious issues and creating legislation about religion?  Why is it most states can function without pointing out their tolerance of religions but Pennsylvania feels the need for a ‘year of the bible’ and other similar legislation? We get some background information about that.  Carl has been involved in addressing religion in schools for years and has brought the subject into the the public spotlight.
